Customer Service Officer

About the Organisation

Our Daily Bread Ministries exists to make the life-changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to all. We do this through creating print, digital, video and audio resources that help believers grow as disciples of Jesus and deepen their Christian faith.

Skills Required

  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Good verbal, written and communication skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Google Docs, with previous data entry experience
  • Be well organised and possess a good attention to detail
  • Previous experience with digital customer support
  • Have a demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, able to work independently and with other co-workers
  • Previous experience working with people from different ethnic, language, and cultural backgrounds
  • Previous experience in the Not for Profit sector or a church environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • A heart for ministry who likes communicating with customers and is passionate about delivery a high level of customer service and ministering to people across phone and email, meeting the needs of our readers
  • supports the team with accurate handling and processing of reader requests and donations through our print and digital channels.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of our print and online resources
  • Processing requests and donations within our CRM system ensuring accuracy to dispatch our biblical resources in a timely manner.
  • Assist with opening and processing the mail
  • Assisting the team with administrative tasks where required
  • Providing necessary support to the office staff when/where required
  • Have a strong conviction of the life changing power of the gospel of Christ and be actively involved in the life of the church


This position is located at our office in Kilsyth.
