Communications Coordinator
We’re looking for a communications all-rounder to join a purpose-driven team!
God is at work in Asia and the Arab world, and we’re looking for someone who is able to share the stories of His work with the church here in Australia. You’ll be serving the peoples of Asia and the Arab world, by envisioning, equipping and engaging Christians in Australia with opportunities to serve, give and pray. We’re a small, welcoming, hard-working Communications team looking for a new teammate to join us!
You will have:
- A deep commitment to seeing lives and communities transformed through encounter with Jesus Christ
- Be prayerful, curious and thoughtful in the mission space, in a way that naturally influences and inspires your strategic communications thinking
- Great collaborative teamwork skills and confidence to work independently, using your time well
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a high degree of accuracy and clarity
- Attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, flexibility, creative thinking and drive
- Familiarity with Salesforce, WordPress, Campaign Monitor and Adobe Creative Suite will be highly regarded.
You’ll be involved with:
- Seeing projects and projects through from beginning to completion. This includes, but is not exclusive to: our print magazine, digital newsletter, fundraising campaigns for print and digital distribution, creating website and social media content and general promotional resources.
- Giving input and proposing ideas in line with our Strategic Plan and organisational goals.
This role is a 0.6 to 0.8 FTE salaried position, based at the office in Bayswater, Victoria (flexible working arrangements are possible). We are open to flexible approaches that make use of your gifts and abilities.
