Chief Financial Officer
St Philip's Christian Education Foundation is responsible for the management and oversight of a group of leading Christian independent schools in the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions catering to 4600 students from Early Learning through to Tertiary Education.
SPCEF is seeking a committed Christian with high calibre financial and business management skills who will carry the financial vision for the organisation through the next season of growth and development.
The CFO is a key management position within the Foundation Office and will work closely with the Executive Principal in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation.
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Strong understanding of a Christian worldview and its application to finances
- Relevant tertiary qualifications including CA/CPA
- Strong experience in financial management including organisational budgets
- Significant experience in working with and advising Boards (preferably in the NFP sector)
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills and experience
- Proven general management and leadership experience
- Superior problem-solving ability and negotiation of successful outcomes
- Passion to contribute to the Vision, Values and planning of strategies for a leading group of schools
