General Manager- Quality and Risk

  • Key role within Residential Senior Leadership team
  • Strong Clinical governance
  • Proven values-based leadership

As a Christian organisation, with a heritage of service spanning 160 years, we serve older people and those who are vulnerable or marginalised by providing a range of accommodation, care and community services.

Anglicare is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, driven and a values-based Leader to oversee the strategic direction regarding the quality and risk of professional practice (including but not limited to clinical care) and to ensure all quality and legislative standards are met across all business units. You will be a “hands-on” professional in playing an active role in delivery of this service.

The role oversees a large and diverse portfolio, across residential aged care.

Excellent leadership and professional credibility are essential to lead a central team of skilled nursing and health professionals; to positively influence practice standards and cultural change throughout the organisation and to support and mentor the General Managers and Operations Support teams to deliver quality care and services within the framework of the Aged Care Act.

Substantial experience and success in clinical governance and in senior leadership are essential for success, as is a personal commitment to Anglicare’s Christian vision and mission.

Being part of one of the largest aged and community services organisations in NSW, this role presents a rare opportunity to positively influence the care of thousands of people.

Anglicare leaders aim to balance compassion with justice, demonstrate integrity with grace, and strive for excellence in all that they do. They demonstrate commercial acumen, competitive drive and innovative ways of thinking that help ensure Anglicare’s success.
