About the Role

A unique opportunity has presented itself for an engaging and dedicated individual to lead the newly created Strategy and Transformation function at Anglicare Sydney, delivering a transformations journey for our service delivery, and accelerate growth in line with our Christian mission.

You will design and implement strategy, drive organisation wide transformation, specifically through establishment of a Program Management Office, appropriate governance and relevant work streams to implement the outcomes of Anglicare’s strategic review. You will advise the CEO and Executive Committee/Board on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. You will Ensure that a positive and ethical team environment is maintained, by working in accordance with Anglicare’s Leadership Philosophy and Leadership Framework and Code of Conduct.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly strategic individual with a natural desire to work with others collaboratively to achieve common goals and be a strong communicator to influence positive outcomes.

You will understand the importance of integrity, transparency and Christian mission when dealing with key stakeholders including Executive committee and Board members, and key stakeholders within each business stream and the Diocese of Sydney.

You will have;

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent essential, with an MBA or equivalent being highly desirable
  • Top-tier management consulting experience at a Director/Principal (7+ years) level or above being highly desirable
  • Effective delivery of organisation wide transformation management in commercial sector or as a management consultant essential
  • Development and implementation of strategy for large organisations essential
  • Exposure to aged care, disability, community services and adjacent industries, highly desirable
  • Experience working with not-for-profits / charitable / Christian organisation, an advantage
  • Mature Christian faith consistent with the doctrines, tenets, beliefs, and teachings of the Anglican Church in the Diocese of Sydney essential
