Baptist Camping Victoria – Office Manager

This position is full time and set to run the office of Baptist Camping Victoria (BCV) and support the operation of Camp Wilkin. BCV is looking for a Christian person to work within the ethics and values of Baptist Church leading our staff. 

This job will look after:

  • The day-to-day operation of the office, The role is supported by a Booking officer, Accounts officer and Business Manager. 
  • Management of the BCV office, includes sharing of information with other Centre offices and maintaining the office structure with all the coming and goings of BCV and Camp Wilkin staff
  • Complete the wages, super, and HR with the Business Manager,
  • Oversee the market and web updates and development,
  • Office organisation with computers, and programs, (supported by IT specialists), stationery, uniforms, equipment etc.
  • Annual report and collating the board reports,
  • Liaise with the Camp Wilkin Manager
  • Support the Director of Camping,
  • Support the Caretakers at Halls Gap,
  • Communicate well with all areas of BCV Centres and staff at all levels,



  • Business/ Office qualifications, and/or proven relevant experience
    High Computer skills is essential
  • HR / IR knowledge and experience (not essential)
  • Experience in Xero, booking systems (Venues360), share point, payroll system (deputy), excel etc.
  • Valid Working With Children Card and National Police Check


  • Office/Business processes, bookings, wages, and HR / IR regulations
  • Understanding office management and policies
  • Interpersonal relationship and leadership skills. Seeking to practice Jesus’ leadership style.
  • Deep spiritual maturity through prayer and study
  • Management of staff and liaising with other centres and their staff


  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Highly competent with contemporary database programs
  • Policy and Procedure writing
  • Priorities spiritual growth and care of staff while mentoring them
  • Demonstrate Christ-like values in leadership qualities in team building and promoting harmony
