About the role

We have a great opportunity for chaplains and pastoral counsellors to join our team working across regional Victoria. You will be able providing one on one counselling in tandem with a “walk the floor” model, allowing you to integrate into the organisation as a trusted professional. You will be able to adapt to a range of environments and be able to engage with people from all levels of seniority, and all walks of life. We are seeking individuals located in various locations across regional Victoria (and not limited to): Bendigo, Bairnsdale, Colac, Dandenong, Geelong, Hamilton, Portland, Seymour, Shepparton, Warragul, and Lilydale.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated skills and experience in pastoral counselling/chaplaincy
  • Have the ability to work with a varied and diverse client base
  • Are caring, compassionate and driven to make a positive difference in people's lives
  • Have demonstrated ability to manage own time, priorities and workload factors
  • Are knowledgeable, proactive, quick thinking
  • Have computer literacy and an understanding of case management software
  • Have a current driver's licence and if relevant, your own vehicle
