About the person
This is a critically important high-trust position. The successful candidate will be a passionate follower of Jesus and be able to share the vision and mission of YFC, personally aligning with its values and mission. They will need to be a mature trustworthy person as they will handle sensitive information and provide critical support to a wide range of senior leadership activities within the organisation.
The successful candidate will be employed part time, be flexible, able to travel occasionally and responsive at times of specific need.
About the role
This is a part time role supporting the CEO in implementing the vision and mission of Youth for Christ. The successful candidate will provide personalized administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner in a broad range of tasks. They will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate to a broad range of people through a range of communication tools. They will be highly competent, reliable and organised with successful experience in administrative roles or equivalent.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle requests and queries as a point of contact on behalf of the CEO
- Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
- Make travel arrangements
- Board coordination and minute taking
- Produce reports, presentations and briefs
- Administrate Childsafe online safety management system
- Coordinate missionaries
- Outbound calling for fundraising
- Availability to work longer hours or after hours as required on occasion
The successful candidate must have:
- Experience – successful history as a Personal Assistant
- High competency with office IT - online systems and procedures including MS Office.
- Clear communication - both written and verbal.
- Organisation skills - outstanding time management skills
- Tech savvy - up-to-date with latest office gadgets and applications
- Ability to multitask - evaluate and prioritize daily workload
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Alignment with the YFC Statement of Faith & Code of Conduct.
- A heart for evangelism and reaching the lost.
- Warm relationship skills
- A well-articulated personal faith.
