The Opportunity

Location:  Brisbane (Springwood) QLD

Role Type:  Full-time I Customer Services

 

We seek a ministry-hearted individual to serve in a frontline supporter care role, focused on building trust and authentic relationships with our listeners and stakeholders. Through inbound and outbound communications, you will provide timely, compassionate, and professional responses that reflect Vision’s mission and values. This role will involve discerning supporter needs, offering prayer support when appropriate, and helping deepen engagement with the ministry. Additionally, it will require assistance with general office administration and reception duties, contributing to a welcoming and well-organised environment. This position requires a sincere Christian faith, strong communication skills, and a heart to serve others with empathy and excellence.

Role Purpose

  • To build authentic, trust-based relationships with supporters through timely and compassionate inbound and outbound communications.
  • To provide professional responses across multiple channels (phone, email, social media), reflecting Vision’s mission, values, and biblical foundation.
  • Discern supporter needs, offer prayer support when appropriate, and encourage deeper engagement with the ministry.
  • Support general office administration and reception duties to ensure a welcoming and well-organised environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional supporter care through inbound and outbound communications, including phone, email, and social media, while reflecting Vision’s mission and values. You will build authentic relationships with supporters, respond to enquiries with professionalism and compassion, and offer prayer support when appropriate. The role also includes maintaining accurate supporter records, assisting with general office administration and reception duties, and ensuring all interactions align with Vision’s Christian ethos and commitment to excellence.

  

Successful Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a warm, empathetic communicator with a heart for ministry and a passion for serving others. You will have proven experience in customer service or supporter engagement, strong interpersonal and time management skills, and a sincere Christian faith that guides your interactions. With a professional and compassionate approach, you’ll build meaningful relationships with supporters, respond to their needs with care, and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment that reflects Vision’s mission and values.
