Compensation: $130 to $165 Hourly

 

Christian Heritage College (CHC) is seeking passionate and committed Christian academics to join our Business faculty as Lecturers. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of business leaders while integrating faith and professional practice.

About the Role

As a Lecturer in our School of Business, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across a diverse range of Business specialties. Although the position is based at our campus in Carindale, QLD, many courses are delivered fully online, providing flexibility for remote work.

You’ll be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences, supporting students in their academic journey, and contributing to the life of the College. Teaching assignments will be matched to your expertise and may include:

  • Digital & Social Media Marketing
  • Management & Human Resources
  • Finance & Accounting
  • Cyber Security
  • Public Relations
  • Agile Management
  • Economics & Productivity

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging classes (on-campus and/or online) aligned with approved unit outlines
  • Develop and upload learning resources to Moodle for hybrid and online delivery
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to students
  • Prepare, mark, and manage assessments
  • Contribute to faculty scholarship and research in your area of expertise
  • Participate in faculty and College-wide committees and activities

Selection Criteria

Required:

  • Masters or Doctorate qualification in a business-related discipline
  • Strong track record of professional success in the business world
  • Mature Christian character and active involvement in a local church community
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in their learning
  • Commitment to the ethos and mission of Christian Heritage College

Desirable:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented approach
  • Passion for integrating faith and business in education
