Concierge Role:
Full Time (with an option for Part Time – 4 days per week)
Pay Rate: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour
12 - Month Maternity Contract
Christian Heritage College (CHC) is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Concierge to join our team for a 12-month maternity contract. The Concierge is the welcoming face of CHC, serving as the first point of contact for guests, staff, and students. This role embodies our values and mission in every interaction, ensuring a warm, friendly, and professional experience both in person and over the phone.
Beyond greeting and assisting visitors, the Concierge maintains a broad understanding of college departments, systems, and processes, supporting daily operations and contributing to the vibrant culture of CHC. As the go-to person for general matters, the Concierge is always in touch with what’s happening across campus.
Ideally this is a Full-Time role, however there is an option for it to be Part-Time (4 day per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive and professional representative of the CHC, offering guidance, answering questions, and connecting people with the correct department.
- Oversee the CHC phone system, respond to inquiries promptly and accurately, record messages and collaborate with the Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager to maintain service continuity during holidays and breaks.
- Manage general operations including, but not limited to, office supplies, mail, room bookings, kitchen duties rosters, event calendars.
- Work with the CFO to manage facilities including, but not limited to, keys, bookings and coordinating general contractors and communicating with staff about works.
- Lead campus tours, welcome new students, share key CHC information, and connect them with the right staff.
- Assist in general office engagement activities including, but not limited to, setting up meeting spaces, arranging catering, greeting guests and, as needed taking minutes.
- Manage room bookings and assist with other campus events including, but not limited to, birthday celebrations and weekly devotions
- Workplace Health and Safety Officer duties including, but not limited to, reports, actioning risk assessments Policy and Procedures, coordinating fire and evacuation compliance, module updates, and staff training events.
- Assist the marketing team as required including, but not limited to, administrative task, calls, or setting up for campus events.
- Assist the finance team with administrative task as required.
Skills & Requirements:

- Flexibility & Multi-tasking: Stay calm under pressure, prioritize people, and manage multiple tasks with clear communication and organization.
- College Contribution: Support finance and marketing offices, undertake college-wide duties as directed, and actively contribute to the life of the College with strong Christian character.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Concierge or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Personal Attributes:
- Mature Christian character with active involvement in local church community
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a polished, professional presence
- A naturally warm and friendly personality with a clear understanding of the value of delivering great customer service
- Collaborative team member with initiative and ability to work independently
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Concierge or similar role
- Committed to supporting the ethos of Christian Heritage College
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
