About the Role
The Administration Officer will work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager to provide high-quality administrative and governance support, ensuring CVA continues to operate efficiently and effectively. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and brings strong organisational and communication skills. You’ll be part of a team that values both excellence and spiritual depth—someone who’s comfortable leading or participating in staff devotions and prayer times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive and administrative support to the CEO and Operations Manager.
- Prepare and coordinate Board papers, agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Assist with general office systems.
- Help coordinate national gatherings and conferences.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and compliance.
- Participate in and occasionally lead team devotions and prayer.
About You
You’ll be someone who:
- Has strong administrative or executive support experience.
- Brings excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and online platforms.
- Works well independently and collaboratively in a small team.
- Aligns with CVA’s Christian mission and values and is comfortable participating in prayer and devotions.
Desirable:
- Experience preparing Board papers or supporting governance processes.
- Previous experience in a member-based or not-for-profit organisation.
Hours and Flexibility
Up to 22.5 hours per week (actual hours negotiable). May be worked as three full days per week or spread across five days (e.g., within school hours). Option to work term-time only, allowing for additional time off during school holidays. Hybrid arrangements available, with occasional in-person meetings.
