We are seeking a proactive and service-focused Advisory Executive to join our high-performing Advisory and Sales team. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to our advisory function by helping clients deliver outstanding events through the coordination and sale of professional speakers, as well as providing executive support to the Managing Director. You will work closely with the MD to manage priorities, streamline communication, and enable the team to focus on strategic initiatives. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client engagement and administrative tasks.
Key areas of responsibility
Keynote and workshop Sales (75%)
- Proactively identifying and acting on opportunities for increased sales
- Build and maintain speaking bureau relationships
- Creating proposals for speaking engagements
- Collating and distributing speaking resources to clients
- Speaker brand management
- Handling media enquiries and interview requests
- Liaising and maintaining relationships with media contacts
Executive assistant to Managing Director (25%)
- Act as the point of contact for the Managing Director of the organisation among employees, clients and other external partners
- Manage the Managing Directors calendar, setting up meetings and ensuring appropriate briefing and documentation is provided
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the Managing Director
- Organise logistics for board meetings, assist in preparing board packs, and manage leadership team planning days
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to plan team events, manage event budgets, and coordinate travel logistics
- Assist the Managing Director with accounts oversight
- Office Management: Handle office-related tasks such as ordering groceries, managing inventory, including packaging and office supplies, overseeing vehicle logistics
- Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages
