Full-Time | West Perth | Meaningful Work

Looking for a role where your work genuinely matters, and you get to work with people who care?

YouthCARE is seeking a highly motivated and organised Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our team.

We’re one of Western Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisations, supporting young people, schools and communities through chaplaincy, wellbeing and programs across the state. We believe every student, family and community deserves to feel connected, supported and valued. Guided by a deep sense of purpose, we bring hope, respect, compassion and service into the everyday life of our communities.

This is a trusted and important role at the heart of the organisation. You’ll help keep the CEO office running smoothly, ensure priorities move forward, and bring calm, order and practical thinking to a fast-moving environment.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation, becoming a valued part of a team that works hard, supports one another, and still knows how to have a laugh.

Our CEO leads with humility, authenticity and genuine care for people, and we’re looking for someone who values the same.

What’s in it for you?

  • Work with a genuinely supportive, down-to-earth team
  • A role with variety, trust and responsibility
  • Meaningful work with real impact
  • A workplace where people enjoy coming to work
  • Modern offices in West Perth, close to public transport
  • Opportunity to work closely with leadership and learn a lot along the way

About YouthCARE

YouthCARE is one of Western Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations. YouthCARE aims to create positive school communities, where students are empowered and encouraged to be the best they can be.  Each year YouthCARE Chaplains help thousands of students, staff and family members in Western Australian public-school communities by providing an essential social, emotional and mental health support service.

The Role:

Reporting to the Manager of the Office of the CEO, your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a busy CEO calendar and priorities
  • Coordinating meetings and key commitments
  • Managing inboxes and communications
  • Preparing documents, correspondence and presentations
  • Supporting travel, logistics and events
  • Helping the CEO stay organised, prepared and effective
  • Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation

You’ll love this role if you:

  • Are naturally organised and one step ahead
  • Love lists, systems and getting things done
  • Take pride in high standards and attention to detail
  • Highly process driven
  • Enjoy helping others stay organised
  • Like being reliable, trusted and dependable
  • Communicate professionally with people at all levels
  • Want meaningful part-time work with impact

Essential Criteria

  • Only Australia Citizens or Permanent Residents should apply.
  • Must be able to support the Christian mission and vision of YouthCARE.

This is a trusted and important role. You will provide thoughtful support that helps our Executive Leadership Team, Board and Committees operate effectively, stay organised and keep important priorities moving. We’re the kind of team that works hard, laughs often, and backs each other when things get busy. We’re looking for someone who understands that great coordination combines professionalism, foresight, efficiency and genuine care for people.

To apply, please send a copy of your resume and a cover letter (no more than two pages) addressing the selection criteria to hr@youthcare.org.au
