Portside Christian College is seeking a friendly, reliable Bus Driver to join our driver team to transport students to and from the College and College-related activities. Support can be provided to the successful candidate to obtain their MR Licence and Driver Accreditation. We have successfully supported several members of our existing team through this process and welcome applicants who are willing to gain these qualifications.
 
About the Role 
You will play an important part in the daily life of the College by:
  • Ensuring students are transported safely and punctually to and from the College, excursions, and events
  • Maintaining a clean and roadworthy College bus
  • Working together with our transport team to assist with scheduling and coordinating bus runs
Transport times may include before and after school, and during the school day for excursions or events.
 
About You 
You are a committed Christian who is active in your local church and eager to serve the College community. You will also have:
  • A current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain, with College support)
  • Driver Accreditation (or willingness to obtain, with College support)
  • Working with Children Check (SA) (or willingness to obtain, with College support)
  • First Aid qualification (BELS/HLTAID010 minimum) (or willingness to obtain, with College support)
  • RRHAN-EC Training (or willingness to obtain, with College support)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
