Mary Andrews College (MAC) is seeking a Registrar & Student Support Officer to provide stewardship of the College's student administration, academic records, compliance processes, and academic governance support. This is a pivotal role at the heart of the College's academic operations, ensuring that students, staff, and governing bodies can rely on accurate information, robust systems, and timely processes.

About the Role
Reporting to the Principal, the Registrar & Student Support Officer is responsible for the integrity and effectiveness of the College's academic administration systems and processes.
This is much more than a traditional administrative role. The Registrar & Student Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring rigorous academic administration, maintaining trusted records, supporting governance and compliance requirements, identifying risks, improving systems, and driving the timely completion of critical operational processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing student admissions, enrolments, progression, completion and graduation processes.
- Maintaining accurate student and academic records and ensuring data quality across systems.
- Coordinating Academic Board administration, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking.
- Supporting AUT reporting, course approvals and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitoring key academic and compliance deadlines and ensuring timely follow-through.
- Maintaining compliance registers, calendars, standard operating procedures and workflow documentation.
- Producing accurate operational and regulatory reports.
- Supporting data governance, records management and privacy obligations.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing more efficient and reliable ways of working.
- Working collaboratively with academic and professional staff to support effective academic operations.
About You
You are highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive. You enjoy bringing order to complexity, balancing multiple deadlines, and ensuring that critical processes are completed accurately and on time.
You will bring:
- A committed Christian faith and alignment with the mission, values and Statement of Belief of Anglican Deaconess Ministries.
- Experience in higher education administration, student administration, academic operations, compliance, records management, governance support or a similar field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with sensitive information and regulated processes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and recurring peak periods.
- Experience maintaining records, systems and reporting processes.
- The ability to interpret policies, regulations and procedures and translate them into practical operational actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using databases, student management systems, learning management systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify risks, solve problems and improve processes.
Experience within the Australian University of Theology network or a comparable tertiary education environment will be highly regarded.
