Position: HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Mukti Australia is a Christian international aid and development organisation with partners in India and Sri Lanka. Our vision is to bring hope and a brighter future to marginalised women and children in these countries. ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The successful applicant will play an important role in the development of and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organisation, touching upon disciplines of People, Finance, Communications and Marketing, Executive Management, and Business Operations for Mukti Australia.
We are looking for someone who can lead and manage a team, work independently and is passionate about using their skills and experience to contribute to making a difference. The responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day operations - People, Finance, Communications and Marketing, Executive Management, and Business Operations.
- Supporting the National Director in the implementation of strategies and operationalising Board strategies; building and managing financial contributions from donors to beneficiary partners; and ensuring that all who interact with Mukti Australia have an exceptional experience with the organisation.
- Working with the team to develop and grow Mukti Australia's sponsorship and donation income streams.
- Provide vital support to the organisation's talent, goals and culture
Position is Permanent Part Time (possible Full-Time), for 30 - 37.5 hours per week (hours/days negotiable). Hybrid flexibility.

- Commitment to the ethos of Mukti Australia both professionally and personally
- Proactive, with good problem-solving abilities
- High level administration and organisational skills
- Experienced in management and leadership roles
- Strong operational skills including ability to organise staff, allocate resources, manage performance, build systems, manage projects
- Good understanding of finance and financial reporting
- Excellent IT skills and experience with the MS Office, Mailchimp, email management
- Strong understanding and sensitivity of cross-cultural issues
- Experience in a similar role - we're really looking for someone to hit the ground running and has some experience behind them.
