About the organisation

4M AUS Limited (ABN 63 660 426 264) is a small Christian not-for-profit organisation, which forms part of the global 4th Musketeer network established in the Netherlands in 2008. Currently, we host up to four events annually - The Extreme Character Challenge (XCC) is a 72-hour mind, body and soul adventure for men, held up to twice per year in Queensland’s Scenic Rim. Arise Challenge is a 2-day woman’s adventure, held up to twice per year at a different Scenic Rim location. Plans are in progress to expand the XCC event to NSW. More information can be found at www.4maus.com.

Our mission is to harness raw adventure to sharpen both men and women’s character.

We are looking to appoint a new CEO on a part time volunteer basis, who will succeed the current CEO who is about to retire.

The successful candidate will be strongly aligned to the Christian values of 4M AUS, and will be looking for a role where adventure can be combined with your exceptional talent to lead the organisation.

As CEO, you will be leading a small team of volunteers in part time executive and operational roles. You will also work with a Board of Directors who are all committed to the mission of 4M AUS.

The key responsibilities of the CEO include the building of lasting relationships with churches and other like-minded organisations, spearheading the recruitment of crew members and participants to XCC and Arise Challenge events and acting as the key liaison coordinator with 4M International.

The estimated level of commitment is one day per week on average. The organisation’s marketing activities peak during the lead-up of each event.

Ideally, the person should be based in or around Brisbane. The candidate must be willing to complete an XCC or Arise Challenge event to develop an appreciation of the events, the operations and intended strategies.

Interested candidates can contact TJ Koekemoer per email at  theunis.koekemoer@gmail.com to discuss the role on or before 14 April 2023.
