We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Partner Engagement Specialist to join our Partnerships Team. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, you’ll be part of a fun, results-driven, and hard-working team that celebrates wins big and small, lifts each other up and shares a can-do attitude and deep passion for making a difference.

The Role – Partner Engagement Specialist

  • Relationship Management & Partner Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for partner enquiries. Develop and nurture relationships through excellent communication and stewardship, identify opportunities to strengthen partner retention and growth. Ensure partners feel valued and engaged.
  • Communication & Enquiries: Answer inbound office calls and respond to email and phone enquiries. Manage customer requests and gift processing. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies. Handle complaints, provide solutions and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Donor Stewardship: Undertake stewardship activities such as thank-you calls, notes, letters of acknowledgment and other appropriate stewardship. Process donations and update donor profiles in the CRM database timely and with accuracy.
  • CRM, Compliance & Record Management: Maintain accurate and timely records of partner interaction in the CRM database. Accurately file documents in SharePoint. Ensure records are up to date for audits and reporting purposes (if required).
  • Event Support: Support the Partnership team during events with planning, logistics, RSVP coordination and resource management.
  • Reporting & Administration: Assist in reporting for giving, engagement and donor information. Perform general administrative tasks, including mail-outs, returned mail and other administrative tasks.
  • Team Collaboration & Support: Primarily provide support to the Partnerships & Marketing teams. Actively collaborate with leaders to develop Partner Engagement Strategies and identify opportunities. Secondary relationship support to Finance and Leadership Team.

 

The successful applicant’s skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to Partner Engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work autonomously with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational and administration skills, including accuracy in data entry and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Demonstrated experience with database systems (desirable).
  • An understanding of and ability to operate within the Christian based beliefs, vision, mission and values of OM Australia.
  • Servant hearted “can do” approach.
