  • Safety and Compliance
    • Lead health and safety programs; enforce risk assessments, incident reporting, and emergency procedures.
    • Maintain required licenses, permits, insurance, and certifications; conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks.
    • Perform regular site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
  • Guest Experience
    • Champion exceptional guest service; manage expectations, address feedback, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Oversee guest check-in/out, trip planning, and post-activity communications to ensure consistency and satisfaction.
  • People and Culture
    • Recruit, train, coach, and manage guides, instructors, and support staff; oversee rosters and performance development.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
  • Financial and Administrative
    • Support budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the Lennox Head site.
    • Manage cash handling, POS reconciliation, and maintain accurate records of bookings, incidents, and equipment usage
  • Community and Environment
    • Represent CYC Adventures' values in all interactions with guests, partners, and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of frontline operations management, ideally in outdoor adventure, tourism, hospitality, education or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and motivating diverse teams.
  • Strong safety and risk management mindset with experience in incident reporting and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Basic financial literacy; experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, environmental considerations, and the Lennox Head area is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Employee benefits in line with company policies
  • Access to gear and program discounts
  • A supportive, safety-first team culture with regional leadership backing
  • Onsite accommodation
