CityLife Casey is currently seeking a passionate and Jesus-centred leader to join the dynamic team here as our Network Pastor.

The Network Pastor (Casey) will work closely with the Casey Lead Pastor, Casey staff, and Casey volunteer leadership team to oversee the development and growth of the Adult Network - cultivating a community of passionate followers of Jesus Christ who live out their faith and impact communities, cities, and nations for the Kingdom of God.

They will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, discipleship pathways, and outreach opportunities for adults connected to CityLife Church Casey. This will be expressed through outreach programs, Life Groups, ministry teams, leadership development, and pastoral connections.

This position is full time.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing annual goals and strategic plan for Casey’s Adult network.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing leaders, fostering an apprenticeship culture and clear leadership pathways
  • To be responsible for the quality of health and spiritual growth in every Adult Life Group.
  • Providing leadership to the weekend services teams (alongside the Casey staff) ensuring we offer a hospitable community culture where people feel welcomed.
  • Collaborating with other Ministries at Casey (Young Adults, Youth, Kids, Weekend Services, Outreach Programs etc) to ensure discipleship opportunities and growth for the whole family.
  • Offering pastoral support to adult congregation as required, with referrals when necessary.
  • Ensuring that each Life Group is actively involved in and contributing towards Community Impact Programs and Events.
  • Raising service teams and leaders to ensure the back of house processes of welcoming, connecting, communion etc runs smoothly.
  • Hosting the weekend services and preach as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Ministry/Theology – desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, select and develop leaders.
  • Demonstrated confidence in spiritual gifts and ministry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking, message construction and report writing.
  • Ability to motivate leaders and see growth of leadership teams.
  • Team building skills and works well within a team of peer staff members
  • Effective decision-making and problem solving
  • Strong Leadership/Coaching skills
