Services and Events Manager

City on a Hill Melbourne

The story so far

City on a Hill began with a small team and a big vision to make a difference in our world for the glory of God. Since our inception in Melbourne in 2007, we have witnessed a special work of God’s grace as he has united hundreds of men and women around the mission of knowing Jesus and making Jesus known. City on a Hill is now a movement of thirteen churches in six cities.

City on a Hill Melbourne plays a leading role in the City on a Hill Movement, as the founding and largest church. We are a church community of over 1,000 people gathering in the CBD of Melbourne, with a deep desire to see our city reached with the beauty, truth and relevance of Jesus. Our Sunday gospel gatherings are a key driver for this mission – shaping our worship, forming our people, and welcoming those exploring faith.

Role description

The Services & Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, delivery, and continual improvement of Sunday services and other gospel gatherings.

The Services & Events Manager will exercise their leadership through hands-on involvement in the preparation and delivery of Sunday services and responsibility for leading people, coordinating teams, and building the systems that support gatherings.
