Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will play a key role in supporting CCS’s people strategy by delivering high-quality, generalist HR services across the organisation. This role ensures compliance with employment legislation and WHS, fosters an inclusive and positive workplace culture, and provides expert advice on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

The P & C Advisor is actively involved in end-to-end recruitment, organisational development/industrial relations, performance management, coaching and providing advice across the HR spectrum.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR Advisor role (minimum of 5 years) with a sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements and/or other industrial agreements, providing advice to management and employees.
  • Coaching skills at both an organisational and individual level.
  • Sound project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the creation and application of policies and procedures.
  • A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and effectively contribute to a team environment.
  • Experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders where empathy and discretion is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong computer, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Up to date immunization including influenza and Covid 19.
