Caringbah Baptist Church is stepping into a significant season of growth, after a period of review of our needs and priorities, we sense God’s calling for the development of a new role to join the staff team of CBC.
Across our church, we are seeing increasing numbers of children, young people, and families connecting, belonging, and beginning their journey of faith. With this momentum comes an exciting opportunity to join in what God is doing as the Generations Pastor / Coordinator.
We are looking for a dynamic, visionary leader who senses God’s call to invest in the next generation — someone who can build, lead, and grow a thriving children, youth, and families ministry for this next season.
The Opportunity
This is more than a role; it’s a chance to shape a generation.
As our Generations Pastor / Coordinator, you will:
- Provide pastoral and strategic leadership across children, youth, and families
- Build a clear discipleship pathway from early childhood through to young adulthood
- Equip parents and carers as the primary disciplers of their children
- Lead and develop a strong, committed volunteer team
- Help create a gospel-centred, relational, and missional culture across generations
We already have a healthy, engaged volunteer base, what we need is the right leader to equip, release, and multiply that team.

Who We’re Looking For
You might be a pastor, ministry leader, or emerging leader who:
- Has a deep love for Jesus and a passion for the next generation
- Has a proven ability to build, lead, and grow volunteer teams, raising leaders and multiplying ministry impact
- Is a builder of people and teams, not just programs
- Thinks strategically but leads relationally
- Can bring energy, clarity, and vision to a growing ministry
- Is aligned with a biblically grounded, gospel-centred approach to discipleship
Role Details
- Full-time (preferred), though part-time considered for the right person
- Reports to the Lead Pastor
- Based at Caringbah Baptist Church, Sydney
