St Luke’s Grammar School is one of seventeen schools that are part of the Anglican Schools Corporation (ASC) network of schools. The ASC works closely with the Principal and School Council to ensure wise oversight and governance of the School and provide support with core services including finance, IT, Compliance and Human Resources.

About the Role
St Luke’s Grammar School is seeking to appoint a Performing Arts Assistant. This is a pivotal role in contributing to the whole school community. This busy role will allow the successful candidate to apply their considerable skills including excellent organisational, multitasking and time management skills, computer proficiency and an ability to liaise, interact, and communicate effectively with all members of the School’s community.

Key Roles / Duties / Responsibilities
The successful applicant will engage and communicate effectively with the School Community:
- Assists in the coordination of Music, Dance and Drama rehearsals, schedules, and overall logistics of performances and stage productions
- Manages communication between staff, parents, students, and the director to ensure smooth operations
- Oversees daily administration including inbox management, meetings, supplies, and attendance tracking
- Provides direct support to the Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and availability for last-minute changes
- Manages repertoire resources, including purchasing music, organising storage, and maintaining digital drives
- Maintains internal systems and platforms (e.g. calendars, forms, portals, and databases) to keep information accurate and up to date
- Oversees instrument inventory, including tracking, billing, and organising repairs
- Coordinates peripatetic programs, including room allocations, student scheduling, and communications
- Supports event planning and execution, including bookings, risk assessments, communications, and administrative processes
