Amid an exciting season of growth, we are seeking to appoint two new voluntary members to our Management Committee, which is accountable for the overall governance, management, and strategic direction of Strength Potential.

Strength Potential is a faith-based Queensland social enterprise established in 2016 as an incorporated association. We are dedicated to empowering young people facing wellbeing and mental health challenges that limit their ability to engage confidently in daily life, learning, and community. Our mission is to help them identify strengths, build resilience, and reach their potential through evidence-based mentoring and wellbeing programs.

We currently deliver more than 300 hours of one on one, strengths focused mentoring each week across South-East Queensland. We are seeking to extend this impact into regional Queensland and beyond, by building on our successful face to face model and two established programs: MiiND, an interactive online platform addressing youth wellbeing; and Hot Chocolate Circle (HCC), an eight week small group program supporting early teen girls to manage stress, build resilience, and improve mood.

Strength Potential currently operates with an annual budget exceeding $1.5 million, delivering measurable outcomes in confidence, connection, and sustained participation in learning and community life.
