Job Advertisement – Administration and Operations Coordinator

Organisation: Mary Andrews College
Position: Administration and Operations Coordinator
Location: Central Sydney NSW
Hours: Approx. 30 hrs across 4-5 days (must include Mon, Tue & Fri)
Salary Range - From 85,000 (Full Time Equivalent) + Super

 

Mary Andrews College (MAC) is a ministry of Anglican Deaconess Ministries (ADM) and an affiliated college of the Australian University of Theology (AUT). We’re seeking an Administration and Operations Coordinator who is proactive, highly organised, and enjoys improving systems and processes in a consultative way.

About the role

You will help drive the smooth day-to-day operations of the College by:

  • Coordinating the College calendar and operational “seasons” (e.g. enrolments, AUT reporting, graduation)
  • Managing core administration (meetings, files, workflows) and continuous improvement (SOPs/work instructions)
  • Supporting change initiatives across business, academic and financial operations
  • Supporting effective use of the student management system (currently Salesforce) and staff training
  • Coordinating projects (registers, plans, project meetings)
  • Supporting College events in collaboration with the Events Manager and team (e.g. orientation, chapel, graduation)

About you

  • Strong Christian faith and commitment to ADM’s Statement of Belief and MAC/ADM mission and values
  • Strong admin skills, attention to detail, and excellent professional communication
  • A practical “seer and doer” mindset; meets deadlines and follows through
  • Experience in administration/program operations (min 5 years) and a bachelor’s degree
  • Event and/or project management experience
  • Confidence with Microsoft 365; CRM/student system experience desirable
