This is a 3-day-per-week (0.6 FTE) role offered initially as a 6-month contract, with flexibility and terms open to negotiation for the right applicant.

- Demonstrates a vibrant Christian faith
- Resonates with the value The Bridge Church (https://thebridgechurch.au/about/our-beliefs)
- Communicates effectively and engages well with not only different generations but different faith journey’s and experiences
- Can work both in a collaborative team environment and independently
- Open to learn and grow
- Some ministry experience, including preaching would be helpful but not necessary
- Has a love for the local church
- A theological degree would be helpful but not necessary
The role will be shaped in collaboration with the successful candidate, the Interim Lead Pastor and Church Council. Responsibilities will be tailored to the applicant’s gifts, experience and calling, with a focus on a selected portfolio of ministry areas but sharing overall running of the Church with the Interim Lead Pastor.
This role is 3 days a week, ideally with Sundays and Mondays on site. However, there is room for flexibility with the weekday work schedule.
If you are passionate about ministry, community and helping people follow Jesus in everyday life, we would love to hear from you. Please email your Resume and Cover Letter to office@thebridgechurch.au.
