Director of Ministry Advancement – Australia
Fully Remote | Fractional / Contractor
Help build a movement that stands with persecuted Christians around the world. Global Christian Relief is establishing its presence in Australia and is seeking a relational, faith-filled and entrepreneurial leader to help build the network of people and partnerships that will underpin its future ministry. This is a rare opportunity to help shape something from the ground up, connecting Australian Christians, business leaders, philanthropists and churches with the courageous faith and needs of the persecuted Church.
As Director of Ministry Advancement – Australia, you will identify and cultivate relationships with high-capacity individuals, founders, family offices, business and church leaders, foundations and other influencers who could become founding donors, advocates and strategic partners. More than simply raising funds, you will help people encounter the mission, understand the realities faced by persecuted Christians and discover how their resources, relationships and influence can make a lasting Kingdom difference.
We are looking for an accomplished relationship-builder with experience in fundraising, major gifts, ministry advancement or a closely related field. You will bring initiative, resilience, warmth and sound judgement, together with an authentic Christian faith and a genuine commitment to strengthening persecuted Christians and advancing the Gospel. This is initially a remote, Australia-based fractional / contractor engagement of approximately 1–2 days per week, with scope to grow as GCR Australia and its donor community develop.
