GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Do you have a passion for great design and a heart for Christian ministry?

Vision Christian Media is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to help bring our mission to life through compelling visual communications that engage audiences, strengthen ministry impact and communicate biblical truth across Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital and Published Media Team, working across a diverse range of projects including marketing campaigns, supporter communications, publications, digital content, websites, social media, events and emerging platforms. The role also provides opportunities to support video editing and digital content distribution activities.

Today Vision Christian Media is an independent, supporter-funded network of more than 700 AM, FM and DAB+ radio frequencies, plus the Vision app, podcasts, social media, national Christian news, a prayer line, devotionals, publications and Asia Pacific affiliates which together are reaching over a million people monthly. Working within our Creative Services team and under the guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer and Director of Digital and Published Media, you will:

  • Develop engaging, brand-aligned creative assets across print, digital and emerging media platforms.
  • Create visual communications for campaigns, publications, supporter communications, fundraising initiatives and marketing activities.
  • Translate approved briefs into effective and audience-focused creative solutions.
  • Produce production-ready artwork and digital assets to a high standard.
  • Assist with recurring publications, campaign materials and creative asset development.
  • Support print and digital production activities, including file preparation, proofs and asset management.
  • Contribute to video editing, content preparation and digital distribution as a secondary responsibility.
  • Help ensure Vision’s visual communications maintain a high standard of quality, consistency and ministry alignment. 

SELECTION CRITERIA

If you are a creative professional who enjoys collaborating with others while maintaining a strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence. 

You will ideally bring:

  • At least three years’ professional graphic design experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience creating assets across print and digital environments.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout and visual communication principles.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • A collaborative and service-oriented approach to work.
  • An active Christian faith and genuine support for Vision’s mission, values and Statement of Faith.

Experience within ministry, fundraising, publishing, not-for-profit or multi-channel campaign environments will be highly regarded.
