Board Members for National Charity
Every Home for Christ (EHC) and Every Home Global Concern (EHGC) is non-denominational national Christian charity providing humanitarian aid and carrying the message of Christ to everyone, everywhere and every generation in Australia as part of its international OIKOS initiative. Last year we celebrated our 50th anniversary of fulfilling the Great Commission. Internationally, we celebrate our 80th anniversary this year. See our website for details on what we do and who we are at www.everyhome.org.au
EHC is now looking for Expressions of Interest nationally from suitably qualified and experienced leaders and young adults to join the Board of Directors of EHC and EHGC.
The Board meets 3 times a year plus an AGM in November. Board travel expenses are reimbursed.
We are looking for people who are committed Christians and can bring some or all the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Active participation in a church and/or Christian organisation.
- Christ centred
- Demonstrate humility, kindness, and a shepherd's heart and should be able to stand up for the organisation's mission and values.
- Engage in deep discussions, grapple with hard decisions, and prioritise the mission of the organization and should be part of a team.
- Relate well with each other and contribute positively to the team. They should be global thinkers and not overly focused on their own area of ministry.
- Experience in Outreach, Youth, and Asia-Pacific ministry preferred
- Understanding of corporate governance, financial statements, and ACNC
Applications close Friday 6 November and sent to: ceo@everyhome.org.au |
